Role Overview:

A national NGO working mainly on health and nutrition is looking for an experienced Proposal Writing Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in crafting compelling proposals that successfully secure funding from diverse sources.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our team to understand project objectives, needs, and requirements.

Conduct research to gather relevant information and data to support proposal content.

Develop, write, and edit comprehensive and persuasive proposals.

Ensure all proposals align with the funder’s guidelines and requirements.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary input and feedback.

Manage multiple proposals simultaneously, meeting all deadlines.

Provide recommendations for proposal improvements and strategy.

Qualifications:

Advanced University Degree in Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, Public Relations, Social Sciences or any related Field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal writing or grant writing.

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Strong research skills and the ability to synthesize complex information.

Familiarity with funding sources and grant application processes.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
