Job Description:

Reporting Responsibilities. Ultimate day to day performs X-rays in field activities and authority for all project personnel and all aspects of project activities rests with the Chief of Party or his/her designee. The individual holding this position shall take no managerial or technical direction from any individual who is not formally employed in the chain of command between the individual and the Chief of Party or the Chief of Party’s designee.

For all routine responsibilities and duties, either directly or indirectly related to this position description, the individual holding this position shall report directly to, and be supervised by, the Mobile X-ray Unit Coordinator, or his/her designee.

Position Objective and Specific Tasks.

As directed by the Mobile Xray Unit Coordinator or his/her designee, the Mobile X-ray Unit X-ray technician will:

• Conduct ACF Screening Activity with AI equipped Portable Xray.
• Manage Mobile X-ray unit efficiently.
• Full-time present at the ACF Activity to provide portable X-ray services to the beneficiaries.
• Responsible for screening TB patients during the ACF Screening activity at assigned districts.
• Ensure the portable Xray machine is functional all the time. 
• Explains the procedure to the patient and takes the verbal consent of the patient before starting the procedure.
• Prepare the patient for the screening procedure.\
• Ensure the provision of quality services X-rays by explaining the X-ray process and appropriate positioning to the patient.
• Responsible for informing and coordinating with the Mobile X-ray unit Coordinator regarding technical issues.
• Maintains record of all X-rays along with AI Scores
• A positive attitude, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

 Educational Requirements and Qualifications.  The individual holding this position shall possess the following:

• At least intermediate or equivalent relevant discipline.
• Diploma in imaging technology/ X-ray technician from a recognized institute
• 2-3 years’ experience of working under renowned radiologist.
• Experience of Artificial Intelligence with Xray machine will be preferred.
• Must have experience of performing X-rays on latest digital Xray machines.
• Good computer skills
• Capacity to work individually and within a team.
