Introduction:

Right To Play International is a global non-governmental organization that uses the transformative power of play to protect, educate, and empower children and youth facing adversity. The organization helps one million children weekly in more than 20 countries build essential life skills and better futures while driving lasting social change. The organization is registered with the Government of Pakistan and has implemented numerous projects in over 20 districts in KP, Sindh & Islamabad since 2008.

The Opportunity:

Right To Play needs the complete technical proposal, financial proposal, company profile, workplan and complete profile of the training team from the potential training firms/agencies. This consulting opportunity offers a chance to be part of a meaningful project that focuses on empowering 150 young women and get them ready to learn and earn through employment/ self-employments. These young women who will be in the age bracket of 17 – 34 years, may belong to different communities and educational and financial background. As a consulting firm, your team of skilled trainers will have the task to design and deliver impactful training programs that equip young women from Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi with essential skills for personal and professional growth. You will have to complete the assignment by September 2024. By joining us, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of these young women, helping them build confidence, develop leadership abilities, improve their understanding of social media platforms, apps, computer and technology, and enhance their communication skill to pave the way for a brighter, more empowered future. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs tailored to empower young women in areas such as communication skills, leadership, financial literacy, networking, problem-solving, digital skills, resilience, confidence building, creativity, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with Right To Play team to design engaging and interactive training sessions that meet the specific needs of the target audience.
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify the skills gaps and learning objectives of the young women participants.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs through feedback mechanisms and assessment tools.
  • Provide mentorship and support to young women to help them apply the skills learned in the training sessions to their careers or entrepreneurial endeavors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training and development to ensure the content remains relevant and impactful.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, particularly for youth or women empowerment projects.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire participants.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with young women from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of gender-sensitive approaches and a commitment to promoting gender equality and empowerment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other trainers and project stakeholders.
