Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a seasoned and Dynamic Program Analyst for Central Office, Islamabad.

The incumbent will communicate across all levels of the organization working directly with the senior leadership team to identify and implement strategic business initiatives and improvement projects across all departments. The incumbent will review, interpret, and analyse data to assist the CEO and other leaders in their decision making.  

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans in collaboration with the senior leadership team to define, prepare and communicate strategic business plans, developmental plans and public health outcomes  aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to recommend evidence-based interventions in current programs and develop new strategies with the overall vision of AKHS,P
  • Prepare performance reports and presentations for the board and head office team
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other communication materials to convey key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Analyse and report on performance based on strategies and business goals highlighting areas needing improvement. 
  • Follow up on KPIs, Program Indicators and outcomes pertaining to public health programs at AKHS,P. 
  • Contribute significantly towards improving overall business acumen and governance (performance metrics), operational, organizational, and financials. 
  • Determine key performance indicators and how to measure team performance. 
  • Analyse and report on performance based on strategies and business goals and recommend areas needing improvement. 
  • Assume day-to-day responsibility for projects and tasks assigned. 
  • Coordination for the F4HE grant with stakeholders and progress sharing (monthly/quarterly)

Experience, Skills and Competencies:

  • Master’s degree in public health, Health Policy Management, Health Administration, or Business   Administration
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in strategic planning, program management and public health programming
  • Strong understanding of health principles, theories, and methodologies, and development of strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, project management, and strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and multicultural environments.
  •  Commitment to promoting health equity, social justice, and community engagement.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and addressing health disparities is preferred
  • Willingness to travel to program focused areas as and when needed
  • Demonstrated personal commitment to the mission, vision, values, and ethics of the company, accepts responsibility and is accountable for the work assigned
  • A team player with presence, perseverance, resilience, communication skills and the added ability to forge partnerships, manage stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Well-versed with healthcare management system and public health dynamics and challenges in both urban and rural context. 
  • Strong financial analysis, budget planning and management experience and skills. 
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on structure and execution.
