What We Are Looking For

A CRM Manager who lives inside Iterable and builds. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, and we treat lifecycle as a revenue function, not a send calendar. You will own conversion and lifecycle-attributed revenue across both our guest audience (travelers we want to convert and bring back) and our owner audience (homeowners and investor leads we want to nurture and win).

You think in systems, work in the weeds, and build from scratch. You write your own Handlebars and your own SQL. You operate with a global-first mindset across a worldwide team. And you are measured on one thing above all: moving conversion.

What You'll Do

  • Own Iterable end to end. Build, QA, launch, and optimize journeys, blast campaigns, triggered sends, and transactional messages across email, push, in-app, SMS, and web.
  • Build the always-on lifecycle architecture. Own the full journey for both audiences — lead nurture, onboarding, conversion, cross-sell, retention, and win-back — for guests and owner leads.
  • Code within the platform. Write Handlebars (merge tags, conditional logic, loops), build and maintain snippets and dynamic content blocks, configure data feeds and Live Data tiles that pull from external web services, and wire up webhooks for real-time personalization.
  • Design behavior- and milestone-driven journeys that respond to actual guest or owner actions.
  • Own conversion metrics. Partner with web and product teams to optimize user flows and run tests across messaging, segmentation, timing, audience logic, and journey design.
  • Build and own segmentation using SQL.
  • Use AI and automation tools to improve personalization and optimization.
  • Manage deliverability, sender reputation, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, suppression, and list health.
  • Maintain customer journey maps and track CRM KPIs including opens, clicks, conversions, revenue per send, and LTV.
  • Work with data, engineering, brand, content, revenue, and operations teams.
  • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, and consent management requirements.

What You'll Bring

Experience

  • 4+ years in CRM or lifecycle marketing.
  • Proven success scaling acquisition, onboarding, retention, and win-back programs.

Iterable Expertise

  • Deep hands-on expertise with Iterable is required.
  • Ability to build complex journeys, dynamic templates, and data feed integrations independently.

Technical Skills

  • Strong Handlebars knowledge.
  • Working HTML and CSS for email.
  • SQL for segmentation and analysis.
  • Experience with APIs, webhooks, and data feeds.

Other Requirements

  • Experience across email, push, in-app, and SMS channels.
  • Strong analytical and testing mindset.
  • Understanding of conversion funnels and attribution.
  • Knowledge of email deliverability and authentication.
  • Ability to work remotely across time zones and manage multiple programs simultaneously.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Segment, Snowflake, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve quality, speed, and decision-making.
  • Hospitality, travel, marketplace, or dual-audience business experience.
