Job Description:

To deliver high-quality housekeeping training to trainees, ensuring they develop the knowledge, skills, and professional attitude required for employment in the hospitality industry.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Deliver theoretical and practical training in housekeeping operations for trainees.
2. Train trainees on cleaning procedures for guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, offices, and other facilities.
3. Demonstrate the proper use of housekeeping equipment, cleaning chemicals, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
4. Teach cleaning standards, hygiene practices, waste management, and infection prevention procedures.
5. Train trainees on bed making, room preparation, linen handling, laundry procedures, and inventory management.
6. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all training activities.
7. Develop and implement practical exercises to enhance trainees’ housekeeping skills and service quality.
8. Monitor trainee attendance, participation, and performance throughout the training program.
9. Conduct practical assessments and provide constructive feedback to improve trainee competency.
10. Maintain training records, assessment reports, and other required documentation.
11. Promote professional behavior, teamwork, customer service, and workplace ethics among trainees.
12. Ensure the training area, tools, and equipment are maintained in a safe and organized condition.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of practical experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in the hospitality management sector.
• Previous training, teaching, or supervisory experience will be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and workplace safety practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deliver practical, hands-on training and simplify technical concepts for trainees.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform demonstrations involving housekeeping equipment and materials.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and service quality.
