Position: Accountant

Location: MALC Headquarter, Saddar, Karachi.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in accounting or finance.
• Practical experience in general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, and financial record-keeping is required.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and update general ledger entries and accounting records.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Record daily financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and account summaries.
• Verify invoices, vouchers, and supporting financial documents.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist with month-end closing and routine accounting activities.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial documents.
• Support internal and external audits by providing relevant records and information.
• Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Practical knowledge of general ledger entries and bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
