Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition is Swiss based INGO, invites proposals from eligible firms for procurement and installation of solar panel as defined in scope of work by GAIN Pakistan.

Instruction to Offeror

1)    The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for procurement and installation of solar panel, as per the Scope of Work (SOW).

2)    The Vendor shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of the proposal, Organization will not be responsible or liable to reimburse cost, regardless of the conduct or outcome of the solicitation.

3)    GAIN bears no responsibility for data errors resulting from transmission or conversion processes.

4)    This RFP in no way obligates GAIN to award a contract nor does it commit GAIN to pay any cost incurred in the preparation and submission of a proposal.

5)    A prospective Vendor requiring any clarification of the RFP may notify GAIN in writing at email address [email protected]

6)    In case of Modification, all prospective Vendors that have received the RFP will be notified in writing of all amendments to the RFP.

7)    The proposal and all related correspondence and documents shall be in English language.

8)    All prices shall be quoted in Pak Rupees (PKR) only inclusive of all applicable taxes (GST). Separate claim in this respect shall not be entertained.

9)    Proposals shall remain valid for ninety days the date of proposal submission prescribed by GAIN, pursuant to the deadline clause. A proposal valid for a shorter period may be rejected by GAIN on the grounds that it is non-responsive.

10)  Payment to supplier/services provider will be made in Pak Rupees through Crossed Cheque on company name or online bank transfer.

11)  Firm should mention its profile with experience of work with other organizations and companies.

12)  NTN, GST and incorporation certificate should be attached with proposal.

The Proposal should provide a straightforward, concise delineation of how the offeror intends to carry out and satisfy the requirements of the scope of work. Proposal should include price options as required below in line with terms & conditions.

Complete procurement & installation of 10 KW Solar Panel:

-       Balance of System- PV balance of system including supporting items

-       Civil Work

-       Earthing

-       Installation & Commissioning (Standard installation charges)

-       NEPRA Licence fee

-       Net metering services

-       Meter issuance, testing & installation

-       Smart Energy Inverter

-       Smart Energy Storage

-       Solar Panel Structure (Aluminium)

-       PV Solar Panels Grade A

Terms & Conditions

• All quotes should be valid for a period of 90- 180 days
• Proposal should clearly mention terms & conditions.
• Proposal should include transportation cost  

Please also submit following documents with proposal

• Company Profile & legal status
• Proof of registration with SECP / Provincial / Local Govt etc.
• NTN & GST Number.
• Detail of past relevant experience (Minimum 05 orders/contract). If would be advantage if proof of past work done/ projects is submitted.
• List of current customers with contact details.

Other Requirements relating to the scope of work:

1. Proposal must include lead time required for delivery and installation. GAIN reserves right to cancel order in case of delay.
2. In case firm fails to supply material in accordance with agreed terms & conditions or provision of damaged supplies, GAIN reserves right to deduct payment accordingly. GAIN also reserves right to cancel purchase order in case of poor-quality material.
