Project Description:

CNFA is currently seeking qualified candidates for the upcoming USAID-funded Pakistan Economic Recovery and Development Activity. This Activity is designed to expand economic opportunities in the Newly Merged Districts (NMDs) of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province by strengthening and modernizing the agriculture sector and promoting farm and off-farm micro- and small enterprises. 

Position Summary:

The Business Enabling Environment Manager will support the activity in a technology upgrade and business processes improvement through provision of technical assistance to businesses to enhance productivity and profitability.

Minimum qualifications:

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, International Development, or
• a relevant social science discipline, Master’s degree is preferred;
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in technical assistance to micro
• and small businesses, strengthening business representative bodies, establishing
• business enabling environment, and other relevant interventions
• Experience working on USAID-funded development projects is preferred;
• Knowledge of Pakistan development context is highly desirable;
• Fluency in English required and additional fluency in local languages preferred.
