Eligible Qualification & Experience

Eligible Qualifications: Following qualifications is required:

• Bachelor (4 years)/Master’s degree in Mass communication, graphic design, fine arts or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification animation and video editing experience.  
• Strong theoretical and practical background in 2D/3D, stop motion and computer-generated animation including use of software such as Adobe Animate, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, Maya (or comparable programs)
• Able to demonstrate animation skills through strong portfolio.
• Advanced level of English and Urdu (reading and writing) 

About the Role:

• The consultant will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating animations for the purpose of communication using different animation software / tools. He / she will be required to think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and develop interactive design. The consultant will read through scripts and interact with the team to understand campaign needs and create storyboards. The ideal candidate would have extensive hands-on experience in making 2D/3D videos using the latest software with a proven professional background and portfolio.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Strong creative and technical capabilities, can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images and videos.
• Create 2D/3D animations for various projects including short videos, GIFs etc for awareness campaigns. 
• Design backgrounds, characters, objects and the animation environment
• Draw/create and deliver storyboards so that all projects receive necessary approval
• Build accurate, detailed, frame-by-frame visuals
• Create and edit videos based on the animation as well as adding effects/elements to enhance the motion graphics.
• Develop the timing and pace of the movements of a character or object during the sequence of images and ensure they follow the soundtrack and audio requirements
• Update design software as necessary and continually research new methods and programs that could improve animation projects. 
• Perform any other official task assigned by the Senior Management.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in creating animations
• Minimum 5 years of animation and video editing experience. 
• Bachelors/Masters Degree in mass communication, graphic design, fine arts or relevant
• Knowledge of 2D/3D, stop motion and computer-generated animation
• Software skills: Adobe Animate, Premiere, Illustrator, After Effects, Maya (or comparable programs)
• Creative mind and storytelling skills 
• Strong portfolio
• Ability to deliver within tight deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision. 
• Advanced level of English and Urdu (reading and writing)

Age Requirement: 40 Years - Maximum

Term of Contract: One Year 

Quota: Merit

Salary Package / Remuneration: Negotiable. In addition, TA/DA and Telephone facility will be admissible in accordance with the prevailing policy for the Consultants.
