Grant Support for Strengthening Women-Owned Homebased Food Products Enterprises in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

The USAID’s funded Economic Recovery and Development Activity (USAID-ERDA) is a five-year activity implemented by Associates in Development (AiD) Pvt Ltd. The USAID-ERDA aims to increase economic opportunities by strengthening and modernizing the agriculture sector and promoting micro, small & medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its Newly Merged Districts (NMDs).

USAID-ERDA under its MSMEs component plans to provide in-kind grant support to eligible women entrepreneurs for strengthening their existing homebased food products enterprises in Peshawar and Swat districts.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• The applicant must be a female and permanent resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
• Must have an existing food products business in one of the selected districts (Peshawar and Swat only).
• The business must have been operational for the last one (01) year. USAID-ERDA team will physically verify the existence and operational status of the business.
• Must have a minimum of 100 sq feet dedicated space and accessible for setting up the additional USAID-ERDA in-kind grant support.

 TYPE OF SUPPORT

• In-kind Grant Support of up-to PKR 1,000,000 per enterprise.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• Complete grant application form. (Mandatory)
• Copies of valid CNIC (Mandatory)
• Business Registration documents (if applicable)
• Any other information / document related to your current business such as sales receipts and contracts etc. (Optional)
