Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement detailed program implementation plans, ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives and strategic plans.

Provide leadership and guidance to the program implementation team, ensuring effective coordination and communication among team members and stakeholders.

Monitor and evaluate the progress of programs, identifying potential challenges and developing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure successful delivery.

Collaborate with the GM Programs & Projects and other relevant stakeholders to assess program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements or modifications as needed.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the HDF's mission, values, and program objectives to ensure that all activities align with the organization's overall vision.

Oversee the allocation and management of resources, including budgetary allocations, to ensure efficient and effective program implementation.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the program implementation team, promoting a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including government agencies, community organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance program impact and sustainability.

Prepare regular progress reports, including comprehensive data analysis and recommendations, for presentation to the GM Programs & Projects and other relevant stakeholders.

Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements in the NGO sector, incorporating relevant knowledge into program implementation strategies and activities.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as International Development, Public Administration, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is preferred.

Proven experience (minimum 15 years) in program management or implementation within the NGO sector, demonstrating a strong track record of successful project delivery and team leadership.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to identify and address challenges in program implementation.

Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, including budgeting, monitoring, and evaluation.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements within the NGO sector.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve organizational goals.
