Overview of the organization:

Established in 2016,VBF stands as a registered non-profit organization formed by a group of young social workers to address and fill the existing gaps in the education system,lack of professional development opportunities, and gender discrimination.VBF initially started its journey with micro-level community projects to raise awareness and increase youth participation through volunteer activities in the sphere of education, culture, and life skills. Later to expand itsscope of work, VBF increased its focus on non-formal education, pedagogical skills, professional development,and gender empowerment to facilitate transformational change among vulnerable communities and contribute towards the provision of basic human rights. VBF with its mandate tobuild an equitable society with access to education and enhancement opportunities hasevolved since its inception into a goal-oriented organization with an emphasis on research,communication development, advocacy,community outreach, and capacity-building programs to empower women, youth,and professionals.

SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AND PORTFOLIO

Dear Web Development Professionals and Companies,

 Vision Building Future (VBF) extends a warm invitation to qualified and experienced web developers to submit quotations for the design and development of a comprehensive website for our esteemed organization. VBF actively seeking expertise in both front-end and back-end development, including the proficient implementation of themes and plugins. It is crucial that prospective candidates showcase a high level of proficiency in WordPress. Furthermore, VBF would like to highlight that the selected web developer will suggest a suitable theme for the website, which VBF will subsequently purchase.The potential web developer selected for this project will be awarded an agreement based on a combination of technical expertise, proposed approach, and overall cost-effectiveness.

 Scope of Work:

 Design and Development:

1. Create a comprehensive website for Vision Building Future, reflecting the organization's values and vision.

1. Ensure a visually appealing and user-friendly interface to enhance the overall user experience.

Front-end and Back-end Development:

1. Utilize WordPress for both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless functionality and ease of content management.
2. Implement best practices for responsive design, optimizing the website for various devices and screen sizes.
3. Employ JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to enhance website functionality and interactivity.

Theme and Plugin Integration:

1. Propose and recommend a suitable WordPress theme that aligns with Vision Building Future's brand and objectives. Note: The selected web developer will suggest a theme, and VBF will subsequently purchase it.
2. Integrate and customize themes and plugins to meet specific organizational requirements, ensuring a cohesive and tailored website.
3. Implement necessary security measures to safeguard the website against potential vulnerabilities.

Content Management:

Provide a user-friendly content management system (CMS) within WordPress, allowing authorized personnel at Vision Building Future to easily update and manage website content.

 Testing and Quality Assurance:

1. Conduct thorough testing of the website across different browsers and devices to ensure consistent performance.
2. Implement quality assurance measures to identify and address any potential issues, bugs, or discrepancies.

Training and Documentation:

• Provide training sessions for Vision Building Future staff on basic website management tasks within the WordPress environment.
• Create comprehensive documentation outlining the website's structure, features, and guidelines for ongoing maintenance.

Please take note of the following requirements and conditions:

• Please specify whether the quotation is inclusive of tax or not. If not mentioned, we will assume it is inclusive of tax.
• All prices shall be quoted in Pak Rupees only.
• Proposals shall remain valid for one month after the date of Proposal submission.
• To assist in the examination, evaluation, and comparison of Proposals, the VBF may at its discretion, ask the Vendor for clarification of its Proposal. The request for clarification and the response shall be in writing and no change in price or substance of the Proposal shall be sought, offered, or permitted.

Work Timeline:

Submission of Quotation: December 03, 2023, by 12:00 PM.

Award of Agreement: December 05, 2023.

Website Completion:January 15, 2024.
