Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
The Warehousing Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Assess the warehousing need of the LHW kits, MNCH packages and birthing stations.
- Develop the warehousing assessment tools and checklists.
- Visit the USAID supported ISO certified public sector warehouses, i.e. Federal Directorate of Immunization and Central Warehouse and Supplies, Karachi and commercial warehouses at Karachi.
- Develop the warehouse assessment report, outlining the pros and cons of all the warehousing options along with the recommendations for the most viable and cost-effective warehousing and distribution model.
Required Skills & Qualification:
The individual must be able to perform prescribed essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed to perform the principal duties:
- Master's/bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, social sciences with specialization/diploma in warehousing.
- At least 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience in working with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and community-based organizations.
