Grant support for establishment of Model Vineyards in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its Newly Merged Districts (KP-NMDs)

 The USAID’s funded Economic Recovery and Development Activity (USAID-ERDA) is a five-year activity implemented by Associates in Development (AiD) Pvt Ltd. The USAID-ERDA aims to increase economic opportunities by strengthening and modernizing the agriculture sector and promoting micro, small & medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its Newly Merged Districts (NMDs).

USAID-ERDA under its agriculture component plans to establish model vineyards, in the selected tehsils of District Mardan (Tehsil Katlang), District Charsadda (Tehsil Tangi) and District Mohmand (Tehsil Pandyali and Haleem Zai).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 

• Individuals belong to the selected Production Clusters of the proposed districts - district Mardan (Tehsil Katlang), Charsadda (Tehsil Tangi), and Mohmand (Pandyali and Haleemzai).
•  Individuals hold a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
• Ownership of 1-acre agriculture land.
• Regular source of irrigation water and easy access to water source.
• Willing to co-invest with USAID-ERDA in the form of traditional fencing, prepare the land, and incorporate Farmyard Manure etc. In addition, willing to co-invest 10% of the total grant amount as up-front cash. 
• Willing to participate in training, exposure visit and provide data to USAID-ERDA M&E and field team.
• Experience in farming, especially in horticulture crops.

TYPE OF SUPPORT

• In-kind Grant Support of up-to PKR 1,200,000 per vineyard.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS 

• Complete grant application form. (Mandatory)  
• Copies of valid CNIC. (Mandatory)
• Proof of land ownership (Fard / stamp paper/ registry)
