The Peace & Justice Network (PJN) Pakistan is a national not for profit grassroots justice network registered under Section 42 SECP working across Pakistan for enhancing community legal empowerment and access to justice and strengthening rule of law to foster peace and sustainable development. PJN's vision is for a peaceful, just, and inclusive society governed by laws where the rights of individuals are secure. PJN is looking for a young, dynamic legal professional for its Access to Justice Cell (A2JC) in Peshawar. Key responsibilities:  

  • Manage and operate PJN's Access to Justice Cell (A2JC) in Peshawar
  • Provide legal assistance and court representation to deserving litigants in district and high court.
  • Conduct community legal empowerment sessions.  
  • Collecting, researching, documenting and analyzing information pertaining to specific access to justice, rule of law and human rights issues
  • Establishing and maintaining contacts with provincial government authorities, international organizations, Civil Society and Human Rights organizations
  • Maintaining Record of Complaints Received
  • Representing PJN at Meetings, events, seminars
  • Organizing weekly human rights video briefings and webinars, podcasts 
  • Preparing weekly progress reports of Peace & Justice Network 
  • Identifying Human Rights Violations and conducting field assessments
  • Ensures up-to-date information regarding substantive matters in the field of human rights and makes recommendations on activities to take
  • Organizing educational seminars to promote legal rights awareness and developing legal empowerment campaigns
  • Conducting educational programs to promote awareness of legal rights with law schools. 
  • Coordinating with PJN Provincial Chapters on Access to Justice and Legal Empowerment Agenda
  • Ensure effective communications, visibility, and knowledge management including social media management 
  • Strengthening Access to Justice Windows including Legal Aid Authorities and District Legal Empowerment Committees
  • Perform other related responsibilities as required


This is a full time Peshawar based position. Law Degree with legal aid and probono work experience needed. Must have good writing and communication skills.
