U.S. Mission Pakistan is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the Voucher Examiner position in U.S. Embassy, Islamabad.

Basic Function of the Position – Through operating a variety of departmental financial systems/softwares, position is responsible for performing the full range of complex voucher examiner’s duties including auditing, examining and processing all routine vouchers such as vendor invoices, employee claims, travel advances, contractual payments, grants audit and payment processing, International Narcotics and Law enforcement (INL) specific liquidation vouchers, Official Residence Expense (ORE) claims, residential/non-residential utility billings, claim sales tax refunds, and process other miscellaneous payments.

Qualification Requirements:

Education: Completion of higher secondary school certificate (12 years of education) is required.

Experience: Minimum three (3) years of professional work experience in the field of finance, accounting, auditing, or financially-oriented business management is required.

Job Knowledge: Knowledge of fund accounting methods, procedures and techniques used in the auditing and processing of vouchers is required. Must have/be able to quickly gain knowledge of the Foreign Affairs Manual (4-FAM), Foreign Affairs Regulations, Foreign Affairs Handbook (4 FAH) and FSC Bangkok's manual and standardized regulations.

Skills And Abilities: The incumbent must have advanced working skills of Microsoft office suite and special skills of preparing complex financial reports using pivot tables and multiple macros. Ability to accurately audit vouchers and contract invoices is also required. Skills and abilities may be tested.
