Title: Program Coordinator
Location of Work Station: Sindh (Karachi)

Job Overview:
Program Coordinator will be playing a very important role in coordinating program activities. The program Coordinator will be involved in establishing communication linkages and maintain those with internal and external stakeholders, including partner organizations, government bodies, community organizations, and the internal project team. She/He will be responsible for ensuring the project's key performance indicators are in line with the M&E plan and deliverables are met on time and in accordance with the project’s goals, particularly with respect to the M&E plan.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Implementation
- Closely works with the Senior Program Manager to outline the scope, objectives, and deliverables for the project.
- Coordinate with various internal departments and external partners for resource allocation and task delegation.
- Monitor the implementation of project activities, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
2. Stakeholder Engagement
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including partner organizations, community organizations, government bodies, and policy-makers.
- Organize and manage events such as workshops, roundtable discussions, and training programs to promote project objectives and gather stakeholder input.
3. Team Management
- Assist in recruitment processes for project staff and volunteers.
- Coordinate tasks among team members, provide daily guidance, and monitor team dynamics.
- Prepare and distribute weekly updates on project milestones and upcoming activities.
4. Financial Oversight
- Assist in budget planning and monitor expenditure to ensure it remains within allocated limits.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and provide updates on budget utilization.
5. Documentation and Reporting
- Keep detailed records of project activities, including data collection, stakeholder engagement, and financial documents.
- Prepare and submit monthly progress reports to the Senior Program Manager.
6. Gender Inclusion and Diversity
- Ensure that all project activities and stakeholder engagement comply with the project’s Gender and Inclusion Strategy.
- Coordinate with the Assistant Research Manager to integrate gender-sensitive indicators and practices into the project’s M&E framework.
7. Quality Assurance
- Conduct periodic internal audits and assessments to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of project activities.
- Work closely with the M&E team to assess the impact of the project against key performance indicators.

Requirement:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the social sector.
- Prior experience working with government bodies and/or non-governmental organizations is highly desirable.
- Experience in managing teams and coordinating multifaceted projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with project management software like Smartsheet or MS Project is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree would be an added advantage.
