The Residence of the United States Ambassador to Pakistan is now accepting applications for a Residence Manager.
The Residence Manager has the overall responsibility to oversee operations to ensure that the property is at optimal condition, manage and asses the performance of eight (8) staff, prepare and manage budgets, account for staff time, produce event plans, and keep things running smoothly for the Ambassador’s residence. The Ambassador is offering a competitive salary/benefits package.
Required Qualifications for Residence Manager are as follows:
- Completion of Higher School Certification (12 years of education).
- 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least four in a management roll or as a concierge, preferably with foreign missions.
- Good working knowledge of spoken and written English is required.
- Must be proficient in Word and Excel, multitasking, and possess strong project management skills.
- Must have experience with inventory strategies.
- Proficient in managing time sensitive deadlines and effectively engage with outside business contacts to achieve goals.
- Four (4) years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledgeable of event planning, and team management.
- Must be capable of organizing official events with high-level invited guests, hosted by the Ambassador at the residence.
- Must possess excellent accounting skills and an ability to handle multiple budgets and large cash accounts.
