Scope of Assignment

We are seeking locally registered company (Pakistan) equipped with specialists in GIS, remote sensing and agriculture having experience in mapping rural areas, revenue maps in the context of Pakistan, land cover maps preparation, crop types, administrative boundaries, and Points of Interest (POIs).

• The scope of the project is to map 20 districts in the cotton growing regions Punjab and Sindh.

• Generate a cotton crop mask in Better Cotton programme areas.

• Map the geographic location of LGs using open-source datasets.

• Map the Producer Units (PUs) areas to identify overlaps and gaps among adjacent PUs.

• Develop analytical maps reflecting potential hotspot areas.

3. Sealed bids should reachBCI Pakistan Office, Office no. 3, 7th floor 75 / 76 D-1, Main Boulevard, Block D1 Gulberg III, Lahore, on or before 11:59pm 07-12-2023 and should be clearly marked “Bid for Digitalized Farm Services to deliver Better Cotton impact in Pakistan.

4. The Supplier must quote only one option for each service. Bids received with more than one options, and rates may be rejected.

5. Rates should be including of all type of taxes, duties, fees, charges and all other allied costs.

6. BCI Procurement committee reserves the right to change the quantities or cancel/reject any or all offers without assigning any reason.

7. Bidders must not be engaged in any corrupt, fraudulent, collusive or coercive practices including but not limited to applying/ bidding by multiple names / companies. If any bidder is found to be involved in such practices his/her bid may be rejected and the companies in question permanently blacklisted.
