Qualification & KNOWLEDGE:
- ACCA, CA or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 05 years of relevant working experience in US/Canada market with clients
- Substantial experience in financial management managing accounts
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu, including effective presentation skills
- Analytical and critical thinking
- Sensitive to organisation values and principles
- Ability to develop and implement strong accounting controls
- Proficient in Accounting Software, TAXCALC system, QuickBooks, MS Office and other relevant software
- Ability to deliver results on time utilizing strong analytical, critical decision-making and strategic planning skills

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Finance Manager for our client based in Canada. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing and enhancing the financial functions of the organization, with a keen understanding of local tax laws.
Here are the key responsibilities:
- Assess and optimize the existing finance function, implementing necessary systems and controls in accordance with Canadian regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough financial forecasting, meticulously prepare budgets, and perform variance analysis, offering clear explanations for substantial deviations from budgeted values.
- Prepare precise cash flow forecasts and adeptly manage working capital, taking into consideration the nuances of the Canadian financial landscape.
- Monitor day-to-day financial operations, including payroll and bookkeeping, ensuring compliance with Canadian financial standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate GST/HST preparation and submission, adhering to the requirements of the Canadian tax system.
- Proactively seek methods to minimize financial risk to the company, considering the specific tax implications of the Canadian market.
- Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives for both long-term and short-term decision-making, considering the Canadian financial and tax landscape.
- Review financial data and prepare detailed monthly and annual reports, ensuring compliance with Canadian accounting standards.
- Present financial reports in formal meetings to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients, with an understanding of the Canadian financial context.
- Stay up-to-date with applicable Canadian financial reporting standards, tax rates, rules, and regulations to assess their impact on overall financial performance.
- Understand and adhere to industry-related regulations and legislation in the Canadian context.
- Generate monthly invoices for services provided to clients, considering Canadian billing practices.
- Conduct periodic reviews of work completed to ensure accuracy and compliance with Canadian financial laws.
