We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Officer to join our team. The IT Officer will play a crucial role in the administration, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of GPS-based real-time Android applications, as well as maintaining a web-based dashboard system. This role also involves providing support to the Network Specialist in various IT-related tasks, including Technical support to users, IT troubleshooting and server management, report customization, billing management, E-Attendance management, handling CCTV camera and assisting in the implementation of new projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain GPS-based real-time Android applications across various locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Android applications to ensure uninterrupted operations. Collaborate with software developers to implement updates and enhancements as needed.
- Administer and maintain the web-based dashboard system supporting GPS-based real-time applications.
- Customize and configure dashboard reports according to organizational requirements. Ensure the system's availability and reliability for users across the organization. IT/Network Troubleshooting:
- Provide day-to-day IT and network troubleshooting assistance to end-users and the IT team. Assist in identifying and resolving network and connectivity issues. Collaborate with the Assistant Director IT in implementing network improvements.
- Manage and maintain databases and servers used in conjunction with the IT applications. Perform routine maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure data integrity and availability. Monitor server performance and address any issues promptly.
- Oversee the billing management process related to the IT applications and services. Ensure accurate billing records and timely payments from clients or internal departments.
- Manage the E-Attendance system, ensuring its functionality and accuracy. Address any technical issues or discrepancies in attendance records.
- Provide necessary support in CCTV camera operations and its troubleshooting.
- Must be familiar with office file handling and management.
- Collaborate with the Network Specialist in implementing new IT projects. Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Provide administrative support during the deployment and maintenance of ERP systems. Assist in coordinating tasks related to ERP implementation and maintenance.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager to support the organization's IT objectives.
