Pakistan Red Crescent Society invites applications of qualified and dynamic candidates for the following position on purely contract basis based in District Larkana, Khairpur, Shikarpur, KSK & Dadu of Sindh Province. 

District Social Mobilizer Health - (10 position)

General Preferences:

• FA/FSC from recognized institution.
• Experience: 1x year of relevant experience.
• Fluency in spoken and written in Urdu/ English & local languages
• Strong knowledge of social mobilization and survey tools.
• Experience in conducting surveys is an advantage.
• Work towards the achievement of PRCS Vision and long-term objectives
• Flexibility to travel to conduct field visits for monitoring and data collection
• Good command on Microsoft Office (word, excel & power point) and SPSS
• The local candidate of the respective districts will be preferred considering the job requirements
• Maximum Age limit up to 45 Years

JOB & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct baseline surveys/assessments.
• Coordinate and mobilize communities on conducting focus group discussions in the target areas.
• Conduct research/assessment on Hygiene Management.
• Conduct awareness sessions/walks in girls’ schools/colleges/Maddarsas.
• Social Mobilizer will form a health management committee from the community for each BHU to take ownership and management at the local level for the facilities.
• Social Mobilizer will ensure active community support for the project activities and ownership.
• Develop strong relationships with the community and engage Diverse Organizations, Community Leaders, and residents of the intervention areas.
• Lead the formation of Primary Groups, WASH Clubs and WASH Committees in the community.
• Reporting the progress on a regular basis
• Launch and disseminate Immunization campaigns in the targeted areas.
• Ensure close coordination with the technical team and provide support in the implementation of project activities.
• Identify beneficiaries for and document success stories/case studies/ human-interest stories.
