2.        JOB PURPOSE:

To Plan, organise, run, and implement the LSBE activities.

4.        KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Description:

 

  • Develop Monthly/quarterly work plan in line with project documents
  • Update and maintain program files for monitoring and evaluation and activities internal reporting and for donor
  • Ensure smooth running of the Projects activities of UNFPA project in respective districts
  • Conduct research studies and prepare report
  • Ensure project narrative reports are prepared and submitted on time using donor reporting requirements.
  • Track/monitor day-to-day progress against project milestones and activities, against scheduled work plans and overall project objectives;
  • Assist project manager in preparation of project reports.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as support logistics (e.g., procurement of equipment, visits, travels, etc.) for the project
  • Develop and maintain database of all technical reports, presentation, data and information, pictures produced by the project
  • Support preparation for and implementation of research studies, including communicating with program and research partners, maintaining timelines and documentation of research activities, and planning for and supporting implementation of research
  • Compile data and prepare report as per donor requirement
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required by the HOP

Location: Islamabad

6.        WORKING RELATIONS:

 

Program Officer will be working with Project Manager and whole program team.

 

7.        COMPETENCIES:

  • Master degree in a relevant discipline e.g., Management Science and Gender Studies
  • Minimum 2 years proven  experience
  •  Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to work independently, handle a variety of concurrent activities, rank priorities, organize work efficiently, and deliver assignments in a timely manner often under time constraints
  • Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
  • Dynamic and willing to take initiative.
  • A team player but also capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing contexts and priorities
  • Must have knowledge of women rights and gender base violence and existence law related to women right
  • Must know  how to prevent the gender base violence
  • Deep commitment to social justice
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Patient and pays high degree of attention to detail
