DOPASI Foundation is seeking a highly accomplished and experienced Research Coordinator to lead and manage innovative research projects, including those related to COVID-19 and TB, that contribute to the advancement of society.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, oversee, and manage research projects, including COVID-19 and TB studies, from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, detailing tasks, resource allocation, and milestones while considering potential risks and mitigation strategies.
- Implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess project effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven decisions.
- Design and implement data collection strategies, ensuring the acquisition of accurate and meaningful data in line with project goals.
- Apply operational research methodologies to design studies that address societal health challenges, including those arising from COVID-19 and TB, contributing to evidence-based solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, researchers, data analysts, and stakeholders, fostering a cohesive and productive work environment.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in research methodologies and health sciences, integrating innovative approaches into project designs.
- Prepare and deliver clear and concise project reports, sharing project progress, outcomes, and insights with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Manage and contribute to the preparation of research papers for publication in reputable international journals, showcasing your expertise and contributions to the field, particularly in the context of COVID-19 and TB research.
- Responsible for managing project budgets, ensuring resource allocation optimally supports project requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A doctoral degree (PhD), medical degree (MBBS), master's degree (MPhil), or master's in public health (MPH) in a health-related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in conducting research studies, preferably COVID-19 and TB research, with a track record of at least 5 publications in reputable international journals.
- Strong familiarity with project management principles, demonstrated through the successful execution of research initiatives.
- Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation techniques, with a proven ability to analyze data and drive improvements.
- Expertise in data collection methodologies, ensuring high-quality data acquisition for informed decision-making.
- Sound knowledge of operational research methodologies, applying innovative approaches to study design.
- A solid background in health sciences, enabling a comprehensive understanding of health-related research projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
