Location                     :           Head Office, Lahore

Work Week                 :           5 Days (Monday to Friday)

Work Hours                 :           8:30am To 5:15pm

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Carry out waste data collection efforts and maintain reporting systems
  2. Assist in developing survey questionnaires using data acquisition tools
  3. Collect and organize large sets of data from multiple sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
  4. Develop,    maintain    and    re-process    the    database    to    ensure    accuracy   and completeness.
  5. Gather and record physical sample and social survey data on regular basis
  6. Analyze data using statistical techniques and tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights with the help of necessary tools (excel/SPSS)
  7. Create advanced Excel models, visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  8. Perform desk research to gather the secondary data about waste collection and disposal practices in local and international context
  9. Carry out interviews and field visits (waste assessments/sampling) to collect primary data of Used Cartons in the scope areas.
  10. Develop content for surveys, project update presentations and capacity building workshops for relevant stakeholders
  11. Identify discrepancies/opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to improve data quality and efficiency in current and previous project(s)
  12. Provide data analysis support to the project lead throughout the project, and for development of the final report, data tabulation sheets and other data representation material
  13. Analyze budgets, workplans and devise methodologies for the implementation of the projects
  14. Any other input required by WWF-Pakistan and assigned by respective supervisor

Education, Experience & Working Knowledge

Bachelors or Masters’ degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Environmental economics, Development Studies or any other related field

1-2 years of relevant experience

Skills & Attributes

Familiarity with the waste management issues in Pakistan will be an advantage

Expertise in data visualization tools (such as SPSS), advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, graphs, charts and advanced formulas.

ü  Demonstrate ability to plan and schedule initiatives.

ü  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

ü  Demonstrate ability to effectively work with people with different cultural backgrounds.

ü  Demonstrate experience in working with government, civil society and corporate sector;

ü  Sensitivity to gender and other current social issues in Pakistan;

ü  Familiarity with the waste management issues in Pakistan

ü  A vibrant and amicable personality;
