Position Objectives:

The overall role of this position is to mobilize the community, organize sessions regarding health related issues, and Liaisoning with relevant offices & stakeholders.

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

Conduct baseline surveys/assessments.

Coordinate and mobilize communities on conducting focus group discussions in the target areas.

Conduct research/assessment on Hygiene Management.

Conduct awareness sessions/walks in girls’ schools/colleges/Maddarsas.

Social Mobilizer will form a health management committee from the community for each BHU to take ownership and management at the local level for the facilities.

Social Mobilizer will ensure active community support for the project activities and ownership.

Develop strong relationships with the community and engage Diverse Organizations, Community Leaders, and residents of the intervention areas.

Lead the formation of Primary Groups, WASH Clubs and WASH Committees in the community.

Reporting the progress on a regular basis

Launch and disseminate Immunization campaigns in the targeted areas.

Ensure close coordination with the technical team and provide support in the implementation of project activities.

 Identify beneficiaries for and document success stories/case studies/ human interest stories.

Education

Bachelor’s 14 years education in Social Science/ Management or in any relevant field from HEC recognized Institute / University.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of working experience relevant to health projects specially immunization, Ability of work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues. Displays culture, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability.

Skills/Knowledge

• Fluency in spoken and written in Urdu/ Pashtu & English
• strong knowledge of social mobilization and survey tools.
• Experience in conducting surveys is an advantage.
• Work towards the achievement of PRCS Vision and long-term objectives
• Flexibility to travel to conduct field visits for monitoring and data collection
• Good command on Microsoft Office (word, excel & power point) and SPSS
