A National Non-Governmental organization based in Peshawar is looking for seasoned and dynamic Medical Officer, who can provide medical care at the DIC (Drop In Center) level for its project on HIV/Prevention among key population i.e. Transgender/MSM  and other high-risk groups in Peshawar. Local Peshawar base Male, female is encouraged to apply.

The incumbent will be responsible for managing patients visiting to the DIC’s, for seeking care including proper referral when necessary.

Relevant Qualification & Experience:

MBBS or Equilant with valid PMDC license

3 years of relevant experience and practical skills of the job other than 1 year house job

Team-player with an aptitude of working in a multidisciplinary team

Problem-solving skills

Good time management, communication and team building skills

Job Description:

• Treat patients and provide relief from pain and illnesses
• Provide emergency services to the sick patients
• Conduct the off-site/ outreach clinics as and where required
• Provide medical care to the target groups based in other areas
• Spread awareness of diseases and allied prevention and treatment options
• Maintain better image of the organization and work in peaceful environment
• Ensure smooth implementation of services in the healthcare facilities
• Sexual and reproductive health services, including STIs to the key population
• HIV testing
• Sexual & reproductive health services
• PreP
• Counseling
• Screening & management of HIV co. Infections such as TB/HepC
• Ensure her/his availability during any emergency
• Handle patients of all age groups and gender
