Position Summary

The position will facilitate the Program and operations department to implement logistics and fleet plans according to instructions by supervisor. S/He will be responsible for end to end smooth execution of travelling plan related to project/standard procedures.

Job Description:

• Drive official vehicle for transportation of authorized persons, whenever required.
• Strictly observing traffic rules, regulations and laid down speed limits.
• Log all trips, daily mileage, and petrol consumption and keep the logbook up-to-date.
• Receive/ drop visitors at airport(s) and then drive them to respective residence/ hotel/ guest house/ venue etc.
• Check the electrical/ mechanical condition of assigned vehicle on daily basis, undertake minor repairs and report immediately the major repairs/ fault to Manager for further repair / maintenance.
• Wash & clean his vehicle on daily/periodic basis and ensure timely servicing of the vehicle as and when necessary.
• Promptly report accidents involving the vehicle in accordance with HA-Pak policy on this subject and as per local traffic laws.
• Take responsibility for fueling/ refueling of the assigned vehicle.
• Ensures availability of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts.
• Perform any other task assigned by Supervisor or his/her nominee.

Knowledge, Education, Skills, and Behaviors Required to Achieve Role’s Objectives:

Education:

• Basic Education at middle level or preferably up to Matric
• Valid driving license

Work Experience:

Previous experience of working with an National or international organization/project is preferable.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

• Prior driving experience
• Excellent knowledge of the local region
• Clean driving record/history

Language Skills:

• Have good communication skills and can communicate in Urdu and local languages.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English will be a plus.

Knowledge:

• Sound knowledge of basic problems of vehicles.
• Sound knowledge of Traffic rules and regulations.
• Sound knowledge of dealing

• May be “typical office environment”;

• Willingness to work over weekends and longer hours when required.
