Participatory Village Development Programme – PVDP started its development journey from District Tharparkar in 1997. Mr. Dominic Stephen, founder of PVDP, realized the gravity of the situation and the complex socio-psycho and economic problems of the Thari communities and established PVDP in 1997.

PVDP is working in the most challenging, poverty and disaster-stricken districts of Sindh Province to support the most vulnerable people. From 1997, PVDP has been engaged in drought mitigation programs in District Tharparkar and Mirpurkhas and supported thousands of families to make them drought resilient.

PVDP is planning to implement project on Integrated Livelihood, WASH, DRR & Shelter assistance to flood affected communities in district Mirpurkhas- Sindh Pakistan. With financial support of Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe - DKH. The project duration is 15 months (Starting from Mid - June 2023).

l  Responsible to conduct Household surveys, identify the project beneficiaries with help of technical and senior staff.

l  Responsible to identify communal 

basis activity with help of technical staff.

l  Responsible to make village profile of each village and support Project coordinator and team in data collection                                   of                                   project beneficiaries/villages for the purpose to conduct any survey or monitoring.

l  Joint planning & implementation of projects

l  Arrange regular meetings of the VDCs and make sure that notes are properly written down on the minutes register.

l  organization.

l  Ensure maximum participation of the women in project activities.

l  Responsible to distribute different assistance which are planned under the project

l  Responsible to complete project field activities within given timeframe with help of technical and senior staff

l  Prepare weekly/ monthly progress report to submit Project Coordinator through Team Leader.

-        Intermediate/bachelor’s in social

sciences or another field.

-        Minimum    2     to    3     years                        of experience of working in projects 

focused on WASH and Livelihood Management or facilitation of community trainings.

-        Highly organized and flexible

-        Ability to do multitasks and meet changing deadlines

-        Resourceful (provide needed support to staff and other stakeholders).
