- Duties and Responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for:
- Supervise the project activities; ensure quality control and achievement of project indicators.
- Serves as a focal person for coordination with stakeholders, Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees and line departments.
- Ensure effective project control, change control, risk management, budgets, resources, and testing processes are maintained. Provide flexible project management solutions. Use appropriate techniques and methodologies to deliver the best solution for the organizations.
- Contribute to the success of the by adding value and expertise by contributing to the development and implementation of best-practice project management standards across the project.
- Guidance Organize district-level staff for planning coordination and participate in provincial and district-level meetings to collate and analyze information and present progress on performance indicators and advise on activities critical for improving performance on key indicators of the project
- Supervision and project management of the digital two-way communication mechanism between VCs/NCs, CBOs including vulnerable population for improve communication between the government actors and community.
- Guide and lead team in closely working with line departments staff at field level. PTCs and PCMCs to establish the digital linkages between the PTCs and PCMCs and the service provider for improved services in education and health.
- Ensure gender mainstreaming and gender responsive planning throughout the project activities.
- Develop monthly reports to share updates on capacity building of the village secretaries about their roles and responsibilities performance in settled districts.
- Ensure collaboration with donor to ensure planning and implementation of specific capacity development measures.
- Liaise and work with respective district management and local government departments as needed to achieve results.
- Ensure adherence to FOP operational policies, Procedures, and standards of conduct. While facilitating the smooth implementation of all project field activities.
- As needed advise the district staff in the implementation of the activities.
- Any other task assigned by the Project Director.
B. Required qualifications, competencies, and experience
Qualification:
- Master’s degree preferable in Social Sciences, Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, Data Sciences,
- Professional Experience:
- At least 08 years practical experience in a managerial position or in top management position in a Government department, development projects, UN, Donor Organizations, NGOs,
Other knowledge, additional competencies
- Very good working knowledge of ICT technologies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent presentation skills
Important:
