Community Mobilization Officer will be responsible to develop linkages with CSOs and mobilize them  participate in programme activities i.e trainings, planning and review meetings  and field level activities to supervise CSOs for colaborative working on Capacity Building Resilience through Improved Delivery, Governance and Empowerment Program (The CSO’s-BRIDGE Program). In addition, He/She will be responsible to ensure effective and efficient project  implementation according with the ToRs.

Relevant Experience:

Master degree in Social Sciences with at least 3 years of professional experience in same capacity and role.

Job Description:

Major Responsibilities

  • Identification and selection of program beneficiaries, community leaders, youth for skill development
  • Coordination with local level CSOs, taking lead in organizing field level trainings, meetings, events.
  • Implementation of structural schemes/projects
  • Organize sessions with communities to create awareness about programme activities.
  • Introduce the overall program concept, approach, methodology and Program components to have a long-term vision of the program.
  • Coordination with Local authorities and CSOs to execute the joint activities like community score card and inter-face dialogues
  • Meetings/Coordination with community-based organizations/CSOs and other forums & networks of the programme
  • Facilitation in Capacity Development of CSOs based on functional and technical Capacity Needs and Development Plans.
  • Coordination with CSOs to ensure participantion for training on community score card approach and other trainings
  • Prepare and provide plans and reports of programme activities timely
  • Compliance with documentation and reporting requirements specified by organization and supervisor.
  • Any other task assigned by the Supervisor.

SKills Required:

  • Excellent Communication skills, both interpersonal and written
  • Networking skills with demonstrated experience of working in rural development, Conflict resolution.
  • MS Office skills, including Word, Excel. Multimedia competencies are an advantage
