Pakistan Red Crescent Society is looking for a high calibre and dynamic professional for the Routine Immunization Project, District Branch, Bannu, on contract basis.
Functions & Responsibilities:
1. Contributes towards the overall goal and objectives of PRC.
2. Works in line with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Principles.
3. Adheres to the Security rules and procedures.
4. Respects and observes the Staff Rules & Regulations of PRC.
5. The employee may be asked to perform duties and tasks assigned by the management as well as to provide support to other departments if so required.
6. Health Education which targets diseases and immunization schedule
7. Motivation through Inter Personnel Communication
8. Conduct health education sessions and display/distribute health promotion material i.e IEC material etc.
9: Conduction of regular meetings with the relevant stakeholders at UC level and District Level with “Health Facilities Officials, Community leaders/Influencers and WHO, CTC and Health Department officials TSV, DSV and EPI coordinator about project intervention in PRCS selected health facilities
10: Planning and execution of coordination meeting with Health committee members at UC Level and community elders/influencers and religious leader regarding smooth intervention in the field
11: Manage the work schedules of the field staff, adjusting them as need. Build good working relationships with project beneficiaries and resolve their complaints in an efficient manner.
12: Support the field teams in conduction of Jirga sessions, Events and Focus Group discussion (FGDs) regarding importance of Routine immunization vaccination at outreach and fixed sites
13: Plan and undertake regular site visits Fixed and Outreach, EOR session monitoring and social mobilization activities in the field, conduction of interviews with project beneficiaries to obtain feedback on the quality of programming activities and recommendations for improvement and overall monitoring & evaluation of programming activities
14: On job training of social mobilizers and EPI Technicians regarding VPDs,RI Diseases, Interpersonal communication and Community engagement and accountability ,Refuel coverage and RED/REC Plan preparation , zero dose reporting, Vaccine management and Cold chain
15: Planning and any other task assign by the line manager.
16: Reporting (Field visits report, Monthly, Quarterly, Bi Annual and Annual progress reports, Meeting minutes, case studies, success stories and performance evaluation reports).
Eligibility Criteria
Education Medical Doctor
Experience Min 02- 03 years working & relevant experience in Immunization Health, Coordination, Reporting preferably with well-reputed National/ International Humanitarian Organizations.
Competencies
- Fluency in local language (Pashto), Urdu and English.
- Flexibility to travel to conduct field visits for coordination purposes
- Good command on Microsoft Office (word, excel & power point)
