Malteser International (MI) has been active in Pakistan since the Kashmir earthquake of 2005 and has been providing humanitarian aid after disasters and in crisis. Our aid focuses on healthcare, livelihood security and disaster risk reduction. Since 2014, our activities have targeted communities in the Swat and Peshawar regions (KPK province) and on various districts of Sindh province. MI has a country office in Islamabad. Currently, MI implementing a project “Life-saving and integrated health care and nutrition project for crisis-affected people in Pakistan” and a flood relief project in Sindh. Malteser International is planning to launch another primary health care project in Afghan Refugees villages and camps in KP province. Malteser International looking for MEAL Assistant/Data Entry Operator based at project office.  

Your responsabilités :

  • Facilitate program department in need assessments, baseline, end-line and post distribution monitoring satisfaction surveys in terms of developing data collection tools and sample size etc.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency during data collection and entry, manage database and facilitate in data analysis.
  • Facilitate program department in first draft report of surveys (baseline & end-line and assessments).
  • Assist in developing of M&E Plan in PMP tool in coordination with the MEAL manager.
  • Carry out regular routine field monitoring of program activities and produce monitoring visit reports on the given format.
  • Assist in planning and implementation of internal monitoring and evaluation exercises and impact assessments in terms of case/success stories and during project evaluation when needed.
  • Support the completion of beneficiaries’ database in coordination with program team.
  • Ensure accountability at field level during program implementation by orienting program team and beneficiaries during activities on CHS and CRM/CBCM.
  • Ensure display of CBCM banners and boxes are installed at activities intervention locations and visit the targeted locations/areas/villages under project(s) to identify the gaps and challenges regarding CBCM implementation.
  • Ensure beneficiaries have been oriented by project and MEAL team before start of each project activity and make sures that complaints and feedback are properly acknowledged, registered, processed, resolved timely and being responded to the complainants and feedback provider.
  • Share updated CBCM/CRM database routinely with line manager on monthly basis.
  • Take minutes of the review meeting and lessons learnt workshop and share with Line Manager.
  • Identify and document time to time the key learning points during project implementation in the field and share during monthly reporting submissions to MEAL Manager.
  • Ensure MEAL Manger and Area Manager are equally informed about the future tasks and ongoing activities.
  • Ensure proper communication protocols while sharing the general and confidential information sharing with targeted and concerned audience/staff and keep updated his/her technical supervisor MEAL and Program about every development at each stage of project implementation.
  •  This list is not limited; the employee may be required to perform any other task necessary and compatible with its functions assigned by the supervisor.

Your Profile :

 

  • University degree (Master) in Social Sciences, Statistics or similar is required.
  • At least 2 years relevant work experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, or Project Management with good knowledge of MEAL and database management with N/INGO.
  • Experience in writing reports in English.
  • Good computer skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management Skills.
  • Experience in conducting surveys, evaluations as an internal auditor or external consultant.
  • Fluent in Urdu, English, and Pashto languages.
  • Knowledge of KPK context.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Fulfil any other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisor (s). 

What we offer:

  • Start Date: 15th April 2023
  • Duty Station: Above mentioned locations
  • Duration of contract: 12 months (extendable 2024)
  • Salary according to qualification and experience
