The position holder is responsible to arrange healthcare services-related activities in the Women and Girls Friendly Spaces and coordinating with the team, and other stakeholders to provide healthcare services to the flood-affected women and girls in the villages/relief camps.   

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

General Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular WGFSs and community visits to provide basic healthcare services to women, children, and families.
• Guide women about  healthcare issues, maternal healthcare, immunization, and family planning etc
• Play the role as a community mobilizer and motivate flood affected women to access healthcare services
• Deliver/connect or coordinate with healthcare providers for preventive healthcare services, including immunization, antenatal care, family planning, and nutrition counseling.
• Assess the health needs of the flood-affected women and coordinate with health services providers to address those needs.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and health promotion activities.
• Conduct awareness sessions on sexual and reproductive health rights to the flood-affected women in the WGFSs and other topics such as disease prevention, hygiene, and healthy lifestyle choices
• Collaborate with local organizations and stakeholders to improve access to healthcare services in flood-affected areas.
• Monitor and report on the progress of health programs and interventions being implemented in the area and build linkages for synergies and maximize support
• Participate in training and professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

RREQUIREMENTS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing/Lady Health Visitors/Health Tech diploma, Community Midwife (CMW) from a recognized institution 
• Minimum Experience of 3 to 4 Years in a related field.
• Required advanced level of English reading, writing for the drafting of various reports, to be submitted to Program Manager also knowledge of Sindhi is added value 
• Creative, energetic, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to network and liaise with the community
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
• Demonstrated flexibility, motivation, and maturity
• Willingness to work and live in harsh conditions.
