Under the overall supervision of the Community Resilience Activity (CRA) District Team Leader, the cleaner will directly report to the Admin/Logistics Assistant. The incumbent will be responsible for the cleanliness of the whole office. In particular, he will be responsible for:

II. Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  1. Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors
  2. Dust furniture, drapery, and upholstered furniture
  3. Change and distribute clean towels and toiletries
  4. Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  5. Clean and disinfect public areas such as Toilets, showers, and elevators
  6. Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  7. Clean windows, walls, and ceilings and wash Kitchen utensils.
  8. sweeps walkways, driveways, and parking lots using a street sweeper picks up paper and rubbish, and empties garbage cans
  9. Assist in loading & unloading when & if required.
  10. Collect and Deliver Emails/Documents as assigned.
  11. Operate the generator and look after its fuelling.
  12. At times serve as a runner.
  13. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
 III. Technical
  1. Understanding hygienic principles during cleaning
  2. Having basic knowledge/understanding of cleaning IT equipment
  3. Friendly Communication skills with staff members
  4. Self-motivated and know what to clean and at what time 
IV. Education and Experience 

A middle pass of any; or with at least up to 1 year’s relevant experience in a multicultural organization is an advantage.
