Terms of Reference

 Objective

 To develop short videos/ documentaries, highlighting project activities, success stories, and their impact.

 Project Background

Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP) with the technical support of HelpAge International Pakistan (HAIP) is implementing a project under the title of “Promotion of Peace and Development Initiatives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province (KPK), Pakistan" SRSP through this project implementing various activities in Khyber district of KP.  

As the high-profile synergies and presence between existing initiatives and actors and the planned project are key to raising awareness about the target group of elders in a crucial place. In the course of this measure, media-rich short documentary and videos of activities and vocational trainings are created, digitally edited and disseminated through different media and among stakeholders to demonstrate the positive impact of the project activities on the people of Khyber district. The success stories of this project will be continuously captured as a snapshot and mediated, thus contributing to active exchange and advocacy with development actors. The project experiences will thus be shared with government levels to promote replication of the successful activities in other parts of the region.

Documentary and Photography

We are looking to hire the services of a reputable individual consultant to develop video clips of ongoing project activities and later compile these to develop a documentary.

 Expectation from the Consultant

• Develop video clips of ongoing project activities
• Photography/videography, editing and final video clips of the case studies.
• Work in close coordination with communication team to develop a script and flow of the documentary.
• To travel to the project location i.e. Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
• Develop 6 video clips (45-60 seconds) of success stories and 9 success stories that lead to the documentary.
• The consultant is required to bring and manage his/her own camera equipment needed for deliverables mentioned in the TORs whereas HelpAge International will not be responsible to arrange any such logistics.

 Deliverables

• Raw footage captured during video collection  
• 15 Short Video clips of 45-60 seconds (Case Studies/Success Stories)
• High-definition videos documentary of 8-10 minutes, including voiceover in English (British accent) and subtitles.
• 250 high-quality Photos.

Time Frame / Deadline

• All the above-mentioned deliverables must be completed by November 30, 2023.

Expectations from HelpAge International

• To brief the local consultant on the complete project.
• Provide all the required information.
• Arrange the meetings of the documentary team with the beneficiaries.

Logistics

• All the logistics arrangements will be bear by the respective consultant.
• The individual consultant will also be responsible to take the NOC from the relevant authorities/ departments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
