Qualification Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, management, accounting, or other relevant field
  • A minimum of six (06) years of experience of working in grants and contracts implementation support roles on projects targeting KP and Newly Merged Districts
  • Good Knowledge of USAID’s rules and regulations regarding grants and contracts 
  • Demonstrated experience of working on multi-sectoral projects including infrastructure, agriculture development, MSME development and/ or youth workforce development
  • Past experience on the grant procedures for enterprise development for USAID implemented project
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the operational and security context of KP and NMDs
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with teams members of procurement and finance for implementation of grants
  • Ability for forge good working relationship with the public and private sector stakeholders and communities
  • Basic English writing and speaking proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills and Urdu speaking abilities. Pashto speaking is preferable

Job description

  • Help in implementing program Cost Share Grants Management System, in line with USAID regulations and AID’s Grants Management Manual.
  • Liaison with grantees on the grant procedures for enterprise development in selected sectors
  • Assist in strengthening businesses in agriculture and SME enterprises in selected sectors of KP and NMDs through in-kind grants delivery for successful business support.
  • Assist in selection process of grantees from advertising of RFA to final onsite visit to finalize the award.
  • Participate in procurement of In-kind machinery and goods for the grantees.
  • Periodic reports on grants progress to management
  • Assist in modification/ realignment of grants as and when required
  • Ensured that all grants & contracts approvals are in compliance with the limitations of the Delegation of Authority
  • Performed on sight audit of implementing partner’s books of accounts.
  • With guidance of manager grants establish and maintain record keeping for all the grants
  • Assist in preparing grants approval package such as Negotiation memo, grant agreement, in-kind assistance receipts, trench payments etc
