AiD has received USAID’s award for the Economic Recovery and Development Activity (ERDA), which is a five-year project designed to expand economic opportunities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including in Newly Merged Districts (NMDs). ERDA will promote sustainable economic growth by improving agriculture sector capacity and supporting allied MSMEs in the non-agriculture sectors.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare/Assist in preparation of RFQs/RFPs, Negotiation memos, justification memos, receipt of quotations/proposals, bids or proposals, their evaluation, negotiation of certain conditions of subcontracts/POs in full compliance with USAID rules and regulations
Prepare and maintain record of different contracting instruments.
Maintain an effective filing system (hard and soft) as the project requirements.
Maintain and update different trackers.
Ensure timely payment to vendors/Service Providers
Ensure timely supply/services from vendors/ Service Providers
Prepare Purchase orders/subcontracts.
Generate different Procurement/subcontract management report on as needed basis.
Under the guidance and supervision of immediate supervisor, ensure execution of transparent and efficient subcontract/procurement services and processes.
Ensure implementation of procurement/operational strategies focusing on achievement of results.
Work in close collaboration with the operations, program, and management staff
Resolve Implement and organize procurement processes with other management and technical departments.
Other tasks assigned by supervisor
University degree in business administration, or in Supply Chain Management will be preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in local procurement for international donor funded projects preferably USAID.
Possess creativity and analytical capacity to manage Proc-Sub compliance issues and assist other staff in ensuring the implementation of Proc-Sub activities.
Flexibility, creativity, and the ability to maintain a rapid and demanding pace of work. Strong moral code of ethics.
Detailed oriented and ability to accurately document (hard & soft) files.

Excellent interpersonal, diplomacy, and communications skills.
