Qualification Requirements

- F.Sc in computer sciences or related field having command over Microsoft excel.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as security assistant role. USAID experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security management concepts and best practices, and USAID regulations.
- Demonstrated versatility, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
- Excellent interpersonal, diplomacy, and communications skills.
- Fluency in English, Urdu and Pashto is required.
- Ability to create and maintain databases.

Job description
|
- Assist in the overall management of the program’s safety and security systems, including the implementation of the security plan, by remaining abreast of various safety and security procedures, policies, guidelines and best practices.
- Supervise and guide the Guard Commander in the day to day management of the security guard force.
- Keep a watchful eye on ERDA Minimum Operating Security Standards (MOSS) to ensure its compliance.
- Regularly liaise with security personnel from other organizations, police and military officials and local government authorities at appropriate levels.
- Systematically document, map, monitor and report all program-related safety/security incidents, situations and advisories from other entities and report the same to the security officer.
- Maintain up to date incident database of all program areas.
- Collect the open-source and proprietary information relating to the security situation in the area of responsibility for onward submission to the security officer.
- Track and plot moving teams on the map.
- Help SO that program staff members within the AOR adhere to all safety and security protocols.
- Assist SO for timely and appropriate dissemination of security information to staff.
- Assist in conducting security assessments/evaluations and offer appropriate risk mitigation recommendations based on existing ERDA safety and security protocols.
- Assist as required in security administration, particularly concerning Travel Security, Clearances, Travel Tracking and staff lists and ensure that program security documents are updated and properly stored.
- Assist SO in conducting safety and security briefings/training/drills as required.
- Monitor CCTV to maintain active surveillance of PMU.
- Conduct field visits to assess safety & security situation.
- Maintain active staff list with telephone numbers and communicate with the concerned as and when required.
- Actively monitor road opening/blockade status and inform staff well before hand.
