Job Title:                                Data Analyst Coordinator

Job Grade Level:               III

Reports to:                           Program Manager/Head of Programs    

Role and Responsibilities:

Under the overall supervision of the Program Manager/Head of Programs and direct supervision of the MEAL Coordinator, the Data Analyst Coordinator will be responsible for the following deliverables outlined:

  • Develop and maintain a robust and comprehensive database management system, in coordination with the MEAL Coordinator and Program Manager, to ensure the availability of accurate data to meet project and donor deadlines and inform critical decision making.
  • Record, analyze, interpret, consolidate and report data related to ongoing project activities/interventions by Cesvi and consortium partners.
  • Adapt existing in-country information management approaches for collecting, analyzing, and reporting consortium activities and resources, and identifying information gaps.
  • Assist MEAL and project teams in data collection and data entry, as needed.
  • Support the development of regular technical progress reports based on the results framework.
  • Collect and consolidate monthly data reports and inputs from the consortium partners, including consolidated data on progress against project indicators.
  • Produce infographics, dashboards, and presentations, through interpretation and visualization of key indicator data for internal and external stakeholders, including donors, government, and technical working groups.
  • Support the planning and development of monitoring activities, including but not limited to needs assessment, baseline, and end-line surveys.
  • Conduct needs and gaps analysis for development and humanitarian programming, to identify and inform organizational and sectoral priorities and programs.
  • Assist MEAL Coordinator in the development of appropriate monitoring and data management strategies, data collection tools, and reporting templates.
  • Support capacity building of Cesvi and partner staff in data management through training as required.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection policies and protocols across the organization and projects, in line with Cesvi and donor guidelines.
  • Respond to any internal and external data-related queries.
  • Any other job-related added task assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

a.       Education

Master's degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Statistics, or any other relevant field of study.

Excellent IT knowledge and expertise in hardware and software are mandatory.

b.      Experience:

Minimum of 05 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position in NGOs/INGOs/UN Agencies.

c.       Competencies:

Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced fluid environment.

Creative and flexible with problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated professionalism and diplomacy.

Ability to confidently represent oneself to high-level officials.

People management particularly coaching and influence management

d.      Technical Skills:

Confident and proficient in the use of MS Office, proficiency in the English language (written and spoken) is mandatory.    

Highly skilled in data management, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and data reporting.

Contract Duration                                                          

08 Months, (extendable)

Salary Range                                                     

180,000 (Per month)                                                                           

 

These are Emergency Response Positions, so we will be hiring on a rolling basis and we may finalize the candidates before the given deadline.

Preference will be given to candidates, who can join immediately without notice periods.
