RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Responsibility #1:   (95 % of Time):

  • Development of proposals, concept notes, and expression of Interest, write ups and to carry out emergency needs assessments for donors.
  • Networking & scheduling meetings with a wide variety of potential donors.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of events for donors and other stakeholders
  • Reviewing all requirements specific to each funder and designing a proposal development strategy to align with these requirements.
  • Coordinate with government departments, PHF, UN and other INGOs for relief and rehabilitation activities.
  • Knowledge of:

Program development of an emergency response programs.

Recent developments, current information related to flood relief programs.

Basic procedures, methods and techniques of budget preparation and control.

IT equipment including computers and applicable software applications.

Job Responsibility #5: Other Tasks as Assigned (5% of Time):

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE (Must have):

Master’s degree in related discipline with minimum 5 years’ experience in Program development especially emergency response projects,

Experience in getting grants for emergency relief projects and developing budgets.
