Relevant Experience:

 

  • MCSA (MCSE preferable).

Job Description:

Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a seasoned and dynamic IT professional for its Regional Office Chitral.

Incumbent is responsible to maintains the computer systems and networks of the clinical units. She/he may install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults, and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person. She/he also manages Data, Application, ADS, System Center, Communication and Backup servers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Installing and managing Hyper-V.

2.Administration of Endpoint servers such as Kaspersky, MS Defender, and MacAfee.

3. Administration of software-based/hardware-based firewalls.

4. Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.

5. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.

6. Talking staff/clients for issue resolution through a series of actions, either face to face or over telephone.

7. Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.

8. Replacing hardware parts as required.

9. Supporting the roll-out of new applications.

10. Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.

11. Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs.

12. Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);

13. Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.

14. Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with internal & external customers and other professionals.

15. Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment

16. Ensure VPN connectivity among all clinical units and with and central office.

17. Make sure user and application data are properly backed up within and outside premises according to the data backup policy. And send all running application data to central office as per agreed interval.

18. Maintaining log of user complain and share report with central team on monthly basis.

19. Obtaining quotations for outsource works related to IT.

20. Preparing comparative analysis and processing ROPs related to IT works etc.

21. Maintain and update a list of IT vendors in their respective regions.

22. Liaison with central IT lead for IT related tasks.

23. Perform database management tasks.

24. Ensure legal & IT policy compliance in the region.

25. Ensure the completion of any other task assigned by Central IT

Education, Experience & Competencies
