Overview:

Jhpiego is mandated to implement a system strengthening approach that draws on the concepts and tools of human centered design (HCD) to enhance Immunization coverage in the districts (Quetta and Pishin) of Baluchistan. The program will closely work with Provincial EPI Program and the service providers in improving quality, reach and client-centeredness of care aiming to demonstrate new management and service delivery arrangements that can reach ‘zero-dose’ or under-immunized children in communities, reduce drop-outs through more timely and complete follow-up vaccination, and reduce missed opportunities for catch-up vaccination in preventive and curative treatment settings, and looking for short term consultant to perform below stated scope;

Scope of Work:

• Design, develop and manage databases, spreadsheets for Quality Improvement, client safety, monitoring checklist and other data tools; understand, document, and ensure the quality of high-value data for accuracy, consistency and comparability; consolidate operational information on a regular schedule to support analysis.
• Develop and manage platforms and tools that support data collection and analysis such as Kobo Toolbox and Open Data Kit (ODK).
• Installation of mobile data collection forms to end-user devices.
• Capacity Building of team on mobile based data collection tools
• Provide end user support for troubleshooting problems on need basis.
• Data Analysis organize, design and carry out the evaluation and analysis of datasets through meaningful statistical techniques.
• Visualization produce and update information products such as reports, charts and infographics by turning data into graphical products to convey messages and a storyline; develop advocacy materials including posters, presentations and other visual materials.
• Upload EPI training modules on EPI website on need basis.
• Performs other related duties, as required.
• Make all training module accessible through smart phones/devices.

Deliverables:

Required Skills and Qualification:

• At least 3-5 years’ experience in health data collection/ management and all statistic forms
• Data analysis and report writing skills
• Substantial experience in the administration of digital data collection and analysis tools (including platform administration, questionnaire creation, field data collection, data analysis), through Kobo/ODK Toolbox.
• Knowledge of M&E systems, especially as they apply to fragile contexts, demonstrated through field experience.
• Excellent workflow management skills and a proactive attitude.
• Proven analytical background
• Advanced skills in MS office applications, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
• Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel), MIS, HIS, SPSS
• Ability to rapidly analyze and integrate diverse information from varied sources
• Ability for teamwork in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to analyze complex information quickly and simply for audiences.
• Good political and personal judgment.
• Strong communication/interpersonal skills
• Covid vaccination certificate would be desirable as per government protocols.

Location: Islamabad

Assignment duration: 60 Working days. The estimated duration of services is 02 months, renewable once based on the quality of the work provided. The estimated starting date is November 15.
