Main responsibilities:

1. Assist in the development and/or finalization of the project Work Plan and keep it updated in accordance with project activities and timeframes as relevant.
2. Develop baseline data for each project component and for all project indicators.
3. Develop the overall framework, for project M&E, for example, mid-term project review, impact assessment, final evaluation, and develop project Performance Monitoring Plan with relevant data collection systems.
4. Identify areas where technical support to project partners is required. Organize refresher training on M&E for partners as required.
5. Participating in and providing support to project design activities including the development of project theories of change and strategic frameworks (Results Frameworks, Log Frames)
6. Developing a Monitoring and Evaluation plan.
7. Working with data platforms, databases, and select technologies to capture and organize data
8. Training field staff in monitoring and evaluation processes and providing ongoing coaching
9. Contributing to institutional learning processes and tracking best practices in monitoring and evaluation.
10. 10.  Implementing monitoring systems and designing monitoring tools.

11. Any other task that is assigned by organization.

Skill Set:

1. Excellent Communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
2. Expert in Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
3. Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills.
4. Approaches work with enthusiasm and a good, productive attitude on a regular basis.

Experience:

1. Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or relevant degree
2. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience at the national or international level in projects preferably in education sector.
