Job Summary

The Integration Engineer will be the Single Point of Contact for all technical deployments, troubleshooting and configuration for Mobile Financial Services delivery in opco. The role requires strong technical acumen and a deep end to end understanding of MFS infrastructure and related setup. Talent will also be responsible among other duties to share feedback to Business Analyst counterpart and Customer Adaptation Centre for the purposes of process and code improvement.

Job Description Responsibilities & Tasks

1. Install, Integrate, commission the network nodes under ECW/ EWP solution
2. Support Business Analyst and Solution Architect for new requirements and design changes
3. Understand technical requirements as specified in the Solution document
4. Perform ECW Integration and configuration changes activities within approved change window.
5. Prepare test cases in consultation with Solution Architect/BA & Conduct Integration tests with 3 PP’s
6. Report progress of assigned activities to the respective Business Analyst and CPM.
7. CAB participation & Change Coordination between MTN/3PP & GNOC
8. Coordinate UAT/SIT result sign off
9. End to end issue handling and coordination with GSC
10. Internal & external Audit handling
11. Support in troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues on EWP
12. Engage closely with customer and other stakeholders during the testing phase of solutions
13. Overall responsible for usecase testing and relay defect feedback to Customer Adaptation Centre

Key Qualifications

1. Experience in Ericsson Converged Wallet Solution Integration or equivalent e-wallet product 2+ Years
2. Experience in Managed Services in Operational assurance or SME areas. 3+ Years
3. Proven achievement in BSS.
4. Understanding of Ericsson Wallet Platform or adjacent BSS domains products as Charging System
5. BSS Experience 3+ years
6. Strong leadership skills with focus on team performance
7. Result oriented with customer first attitude
8. Can handle stressful and ambiguous situations
9. Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and French
10. Self-motivated with strong drive and initiative, collaborative, relating and networking
11. Outgoing personality that finds it easy to cooperate and establish relationships across organizational boundaries and in a global environment
12. University degree in Technology, preferably MSC
13. ITIL Foundation Certification
14. Advanced proficiency with MS Office Tools

Competence

1. Understanding of Integration Protocols /API’s
2. Working knowledge of a variety of programing languages, including Java, HTML and Python
3. Understanding of Devops processes
4. Good experience of GNU/Linux, Open Source and Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Artifactory
5. Shell scripting / Python /Bash / Perl/ Java and Groovy.
6. Hands-on experience of GIT, Stash, GitHub/Bitbucket etc. and release branching models, Jenkins is preferred;
7. Standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates and key management.
8. Maintaining internet facing production-grade applications in virtualized environments such as cloud computing platforms and services.
9. Working with scalable networking technologies such as Load Balancers/Firewalls and web standards (REST APIs, web security mechanisms).
10. Working with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Mesos, OpenStack, Ansible and Spinnaker).
11. Understanding of open source server software (such as NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch).
12. Good knowledge on Containers, Docker, Kubernetes.
13. Good Knowledge of F5, VMware & PKS.
14. Good understanding of Oracle DB, SQL
