Founded in 1945, CARE is a leading international non-governmental organization delivering long-term developmental and humanitarian aid projects. Background

CARE Country Office requires services of an individual consultant/firm for interior designing of 4 floors of its the office in Islamabad.

Duration of Consultancy

•             The duration of consultancy will be 20 days.

•             The assignment is to be completed by 25th June, 2022.

Theme

The overall design feel will be minimalistic contemporary modern with open, bright and interactive spaces.

The consultant (Individual/firm) would be responsible for the following activities:

i. Give an attractive and practical interior design according to the above theme for the 4 floors of office with focus on lobby, conference room, senior management rooms, Country Director’s office, team rooms, kitchen, recreation area and rooftop.

ii. Provide ideas for material for installation such as wall art, fixtures, furniture, plants, lights etc.

iv. Provide all other details and budgetary estimate for the suggested infrastructure changes, any additional installations that may be added on floors, furniture, and décor items.

Deliverables

• The selected consultant (individual/firm) will hold a site visit and meeting at the CARE International office on June 9, 2022. During the visit the consultant will visit all 4 floors of the building and take photographs. The building plan will be shared with the consultant by CARE International.
• Upon signing of contract, the selected consultant will initiate work on the floor layout design proposal and submit the finalized proposal by June 15^th, 2022.

Payment Terms and Conditions

Final payment for consultancy will be made upon submission of finalized floor layout design proposal to CARE International.

Minimum eligibility criteria for Individual Consultant

• BSc. Or Relevant Degree in Architecture/Interior design from reputed engineering and architecture university
• At least 5 years of experience in Interior decoration/architecture
• Consultant is required to submit his/her profile, reference details and interior design portfolio of recent clients (corporate/commercial and private).

Minimum eligibility criteria for Firm

• Primary interior design staff with minimum qualification of BSc. Or Relevant Degree in Architecture/Interior design from reputed engineering and architecture university
• At least 5 years of experience in Interior decoration/architecture
• Firm is required to submit profile company profile and interior design portfolio of recent clients (corporate/commercial and private).

Selection criteria for Individual Consultant/Firm

Financial Quote: 40%

Qualification: 30%

Relevant Experience and portfolio: 30%

• Quoted prices for the services shall be inclusive of all kind of govt. taxes and duties as per prevailing Tax Laws of Govt. of Pakistan. Kindly note CARE will not entertain any request of changes in taxes after receipt of quotation.

• CARE International is sales tax registered and taxes would be applicable as per GOP rules
• All prices must be quoted in Pakistani Rupees.
• Withholding tax & GST as per government prevailing rates shall be deducted at the time of payment.
• CARE reserves the right to reject any or all quotations without assigning any reason thereof.
• Quotations should remain valid for 60 consecutive days after the closure of the bidding
• All material is copy righted and selected company/firm is not supposed to re-use or circulate.
• Separate Technical & Financial proposals with quotation/fees in one envelope package are required for interior design consultancy services.

Bid Submission

The extended date of submission for sealed proposal is June 9, 2022., please submit your proposals through a registered courier or by hand in CARE Islamabad office before the deadline. Proposals received after the due date or received by other means will not be entertained.
