Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the organization's activities, products and/or services
  2. Respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews, and act as a spokesperson for the organization
  3. Maintain records of media coverage and collate analytics and metrics
  4. Directs the overall flow of information for a company including human resources, public relations, division offices and corporate headquarters
  5. Works with staff in virtually every department of the company
  6. Communicates with members of print, radio and television media if required.
  7. Manages social media communications
  8. Maintains a calendar of assigned projects and deadlines
  9. In accordance with program team, prepares project letters, brochures and other publicity materials
  10. Supports program team in development and printing of training material and training guide
  11. Participate in developing and evaluating feasibility, efficiency and quality of Information Education and Communication (IEC) materials
  12. Development of Communication Policy and Strategy
  13. Identification of Grant opportunities and providing support in proposal writing.
  14. Any other task assigned by CEO.
Knowledge, Expertise & Skill
  1. Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Must have excellent computer skills particularly with software applications like Word and PowerPoint.
  3. Knowledge of Associated Press writing style guide.
  4. Must have the ability to effectively prioritize projects and multi-task.
  5. Must be able to function well in a team environment.
  6. Knowledge of DSLR Camera will be a added benefit.
  7. Must have strong public speaking skills.
  8. Must be highly detail oriented.


Experience and Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences/ Communication/Media
  • Professional Communication Skills (Interpersonal, Written, Verbal etc.)
  • Experience as content writer and editor. Work experience in Publication House is preferred.
  • High Level of Integrity and Honesty.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
