It is therefore very important with good, motivated Clinic Managers that not only can create good professional care and follow-up of the individual staff and theirs work, but also could create good well-being and motivation for each individual staff in his/her clinic and a good and close co-operation with all kinds of local authorities.

Currently , Normeca International is looking for Clinic Manager for its temporary site – Umerkot.


Place in the Organization : 

  1. The Clinic Managers report to the Country Manager in the country of work with copy to the CEO in Norway.
  2. She/he shall contribute to achieving good communication and cooperation between all professions in the hospital.
  3. He/she shall be familiar with the content of all relevant QA manuals of the hospital/clinic, follow the instruction in her/his daily work and follow up each staff that they are following the QA manuals and the given instruction all the time.
  4. In capacity of her/his position, the Clinic Managers has a guidance function related to all other personnel in the hospital/clinic.
  5. In all kind of medical matters related to the individual patient, she/he must adhere to and follow all decisions made by the Head Doctor and/or Medical Manager in the hospital/clinic as long it is inside the budget and valid instruction from the Country Manager.
Role and Framework : 
  1. The Clinic Manager will oversee all clinic operations and staff duties.
  2. The Clinic Manager will coordinate and ensure the quality of all daily activity in the Hospital/clinic to deliver optimal patient care.
  3. The Clinic Manager will perform training, and performance evaluation of staff members.
  4. The Clinic Manager will perform her/his job in consistency with valid laws and regulations of the Government of the country of operation and standard operating procedures and guidelines established for the hospital by Normeca and the hospital management. This applies both to professional as well as general standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  5. He/she will be familiar with the content of relevant QA manuals of the hospital/clinic and will follow the given instruction all the time.
  6. The Clinic Manager will manage the clinic's budget, and inventory.
  7. The Clinic Manager will order stock and supplies for the clinic.
  8. The clinic Manager will oversee the purchasing, maintenance, and repair of clinic equipment.
  9. The clinic Manager will ensure that all deviations and damages are reported in a timely manner.
  10. The clinic Manager will Follow up the implementation and use of the patient record system.
  11. The clinic Manager will Implementation of and follow up the routines in all medical and other stages.
  12. The clinic Manager will assist in the planning of surgical procedures / activities and other activities such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, cystoscopy, and other medical disciplines for maximum utilization of the immediate resources where this is applicable.
  13. The clinic Manager will Assist the reception in planning the patient flow for maximum utilization of the individual medical specialty and doctor.
  14. The clinic Manager will Follow up daily reports and waiting lists that these always are correct.
  15. The clinic Manager will Monitor and follow-up the medication consumption.
  16. The clinic Manager will Monitor any discrepancies and ensure that non-conformance reports are completed in accordance with current routines and followed up with assessments and decisions on measures to avoid the same discrepancies in the future.
  17. The clinic Manager will Prepare a short weekly report every Friday.
  18. The clinic Manager will Follow up the individual doctor regarding all success stories being recorded and included in the weekly reports.
  19. The clinic Manager will Prepare a report for each location the MMU’s are operating in cooperation with the Clinics Medical team.
  20. The clinic Manager will assist the HR Manager in close cooperation with the Medical and/or Project Manager when need of hiring new medical and other staff.
  21. The clinic Manager will conduct regular staff interviews with the individual doctor, nurse, and other medical staff in close cooperation with the Country Manager that are reported in writing to the HR Manager
  22. The clinic Manager will attend meetings with the local health authorities when needed.
  23. The clinic Manager will plan and carry out in close cooperation with the Country and/or Project Manager regular courses and training of all staff especially within CPR, First Aid.
  24. The clinic Manager will conduct regular staff interviews with the individual non-medical staff in close cooperation with the HR Manager that are reported in writing.
  25. The clinic Manager will weekly follow up the accounting and monthly report within the deadline.
  26. The clinic Manager will follow up the drivers with daily reports for km out/in and each day driving.
  27. The clinic Manager will weekly follow up the staff lists to ensure that it is up to date all the time.
  28. The clinic Manager will weekly follow up the lists of meals in each clinic to secure the right invoicing to ISDB.
  29. The clinic Manager will weekly follow up the lists of medicines used.
  30. The clinic Manager will monthly follow up the lists of medical consumables used.
  31. The Clinic Manager is responsible for his/her own education and development and for contributing to and ensuring good means of communication and cooperation within the hospital/clinic.
  32. The Clinic Manager is also obliged to participate in teaching, both in her/his own professional field and in the function of her/his special education.
  33. The Clinic Manager must arrange a short morning meeting every morning with medical and non-medical staff to update all the staff with the latest news.
  34. The Clinic Manager will participate in all courses/training arranged by the Country Manager.
  35. The Clinic Manager will conduct site surveys and communicate with local authorities regarding the locations and the clinics needs in addition to coordinate with the local doctors at each location in terms of patient referrals.
Qualification : 
  1. Diploma in Administration from a recognized school and a minimum of 5 years post-graduation work experience.
  2. Further formal education and training in health administration and some kind of medical education is desirable.
  3. The Clinic Manager should have management experience in a similar position.
  4. All diploma from her/his medical education and other diploma from education related to her/his position in the hospital/clinic has to be confirmed with stamp and signature from Ministry of Health contra confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and contra confirmed by the Norwegian Embassy or Consulate in her/his home country without any exception.
