Relevant Experience:

Veterinary Degree from a recognized university with 3 years of relevant experience is mandatory. 

 Job Description:

• Provide overall technical expertise and management of all Veterinary-related activities (goat breed selection, distribution, training material, conduction trainings, vaccination, disease treatment)
• Engaging and building strong relationships with line department and community
•  Design action plan and training modules on sustainable management of livestock
• Support in development of detailed implementation and monitoring plan and directly undertake regular monitoring to ensure that the program processes and objectives defined in the project proposals are being met.
• Facilitate and provide training and guidance to the recipients of sheep on livestock management
• Conduct pre and post KAP survey and analysis of training activities
• Document field achievements and lessons learned to integrate into project activities and device strategy for sustainability of the project.
• Support in developing project reports on veterinary activities, as needed.
• Conduct regular field visit

• Work closely with other team members in implementation of project activities
• Staff capacity building: Oversee capacity building of mobilization team in livestock management and sustainable practices.
